RE: A Day With A Lineman #27 ~ Exploded!!

in The Man Cave3 years ago

What's up my friend, I hope all is well with the family.

I read this post last night and the damage caused by the lightning was unreal.
This morning I was thinking about how much electricity was in a lightning bolt.
I don't know too much about electricity, but I know that 300 million up to 1 billion volts is a large number and that is the power a bolt of lightning produces.

At the Jersey shore just last week a bolt of lightning killed a lifeguard and sent 10 other people to the hospital.
Electricity, no game.
You lineman deserve every dime you make.

I don't know if you get the History Channel, but if you do there is a great show about Thomas Edison with his DC current and the inventor Tesela with his invention of AC current. They both have big money in their corner, the Rockefellers and the JP Morgan family. It's a race to see who will power up America and beyond. Lots of underhand nonsense as is usually the case when a buck is to be made.

Peace.
