Adeolu SLAWN is a prominent Nigerian artist and one of the people I look up to. He is the youngest artist to design the brittania statuette for the annual BRIT awards. His style includes spray paint,caricatures,large-scale pop art canvases, graffiti and murals.

Progress shots
I started out with the outline of the character using blue,black,pink and orange pens.
Recently,the medium I have been using very constantly are pens,color pens with the fusion of color pencils.
I drew the character holding a spray can because that's a major equipment that SLAWN uses for his creations. I then threw in some colors,and then used color pencil lead-crumbs to create a spray effect coming out of the spray can. I think that's pretty clever too!!
I then styled my name using the lead-crumbs.
I will like to explore more ideas using this medium but there are still a lot of things I have to consider mainly because of the inability for these crumbs to stay in place without some form of adhesive but w'ell see. I find it exciting so I'll definitely do more.
