Hello everyone, today i would like to share an illustration i made.
This one's called मन्वन्तर Manvantara, a cyclic period of time identifying the duration, reign, or age of a Manu, the progenitor of mankind in Hinduism cosmology.
Manvantara (मन्वन्तर), sometimes spelled manwantara or manuantara, is a compound of manu (मनु), which translates to man, mankind, or Manu, the progenitor of mankind. And antara (अन्तर) which translates to interval, period, or term, creating manu-antara or manvantara, literally meaning "the duration of a Manu", or his lifespan, with synonym meanings of "the interval, reign, period, or age of a Manu.
In another words, manvantara is a cycle of seven Rishis (an accomplished and enlightened person), certain deities, an Indra (the king of the devas and Svarga in Hinduism, associated with the sky, lightning, weather, thunder, storms, rains, river flows, and war), a Manu, and kings (sons of Manu) are created and perish.
And, by the way, from now on I'll be using AWORAN as my alias in Ilustrations.
