Today I wanted to share two sketch I did recently with copic markers, which I'm having a lot of fun with. Since I love music I have fun sometimes doing some portaits of famous musicians of the past decades.
The first one is a tribute to Norman Greenbaum. His worldy famous song "Spirit in the Sky" made it to the top of the charts when it was relased in 1969. If you ever heard this song you will agree it's full of energy and it express the sound of those years. Despite the words of the song Mr. Greenbaum said that it isn't a religious song; it's a tribute to western movies were many people where prepared to face death for glory.
This is the portait of the famous track's "Voyage voyage" singer: Desireless. In 1986 this french lady recorder the single who was playing along for all the rest of the decade. She then experimented many other styles with great success
