Another watercolor commission done for the day. This one was a little challenging because water splashes are something I haven't ever given too much attention or practice. I do love other artists making water foams or underwater reflections, also it is incredibly peaceful to watch. Underwater subjects is a category that I think a lot about (concept wise) and am very eager to explore it soon. Therefore, this one was a little bit scary in the beginning but with some brush techniques I was able to create the splash and foam effect.
This piece was supposed to be less detailed than this but I couldn't help myself lol. It took me almost a day to paint this as I took my sweet time with it. Used plenty of blues including some from gouache!
Let me know what you guys think. I love to hear from you! π§‘

Oh thank you very much for your appreciation! πΈ I think a lot of it has to do with observation and then constant practicing. And figuring out techniques on your own too. I am sure you can do it too :)
Yea, that's true practice makes perfect. I'll keep practicing till I get better. Thanks for wise words. Cheers!!!
