Hey colleagues, I hope you are very well, this time I want to show you this character design that I have made inspired by The king of fighter saga and Street Fighter; I wanted to draw something different from the portraits that I have been practicing and I have tried to design some fighting girl which is a style of character that I really like, I have also done this practice with gradient maps but soon I will show you some studies of color and landscapes that I have been practicing to get deeper into this beautiful world of digital painting, without further ado I leave you with the steps of the drawing.
Hey colegas, espero estén muy bien, en esta ocasión les quiero mostrar este diseño de personaje que he realizado inspirado en la saga de The king of fighter y en la de Street Fighter; quise dibujar algo diferente a los retratos que vengo practicando y he probado a diseñar alguna chica peleadora el cual es un estilo de personaje que me gusta mucho, esta practica tambien la he hecho con mapas de degradados pero pronto les mostrare algunos estudios de color y paisajes que he estado practicando para adentrarme mas en este bonito mundo de la pintura digital, sin mas los dejo con los pasos del dibujo.

For this drawing I have started from a reference pose that I have found on pinterest, but I have not wanted to draw it as the dress is, since this would not be a study of the reference as such, but rather it would try to be a character design of its own, of course keeping it very simple; so the first thing I have done is fit the pose, after this I have drawn some muscles to check the anatomy, I proceeded to refine the line and then add the clothes and accessories that I repeat will not be much since I still do not feel able to draw more elaborate things but as I learn I will try to bring more complex designs, time to time.
Para este dibujo he partido de una pose de referencia que he encontrado en pinterest, pero no he querido dibujarla tal cual la vestimenta ya que esto no seria un estudio de la referencia como tal sino que trataria de ser un diseño propio de personaje, claro esta manteniendolo muy sencillo; asi que lo primero que he hecho es encajar la pose, luego de esto he dibujo algunos musculos para comprobar la anatomia, procedi a refinar la linea y posteriormente agregue la ropa y accesorios que repito no seran mucho ya que todavia no me siento capacitado para dibujar cosas mas elaboradas pero conforme vaya aprendiendo tratare de traer diseños mas complejos, tiempo al tiempo.
Grayscale ✒️ Escala de Grises
After having my sketch ready, I applied the gray scale in which I must say that I have not worked as much on the values as in the portrait studies since I was quite anxious to see how the design would look already colored, although I certainly did make sure to give the necessary volumes so that it was presentable.
Luego de tener mi boceto listo, aplique la escala de grises en la cual debo decir que no he trabajado tanto los valores como en los estudios de retratos ya que estaba bastante ansioso por ver como se veria ya coloreado el diseño, aunque ciertamente si me asegure de dar los volumenes neceserios para que estuviese presentable.
Color ✒️
For the coloring I started with the gradient map using the color combination with which I feel more comfortable and then in layers with color mode I established the main tones, after this I added details such as freckles, highlights and blushes of the skin, all this using different layers with different blending modes.
Para el coloreado inicie con el mapa de degradado usando la combinacion de colores con la que me siento mas comodo y luego en capas con modo color fui estableciendo los tonos principales, luego de esto fui agregando detalles como las pecas, los brillos y los rubores de la piel, todo esto usando diferentes capas con diferentes modos de fusión.

Finally, and here is where my martyrdom comes from, the backgrounds, the truth is that this time I have not been able to decide on any of them, so I will show you the three types of background that I made, the original idea was to make a sky and a sand that represented the field of battle but I did not like the effect at all, then I thought of these stripes that would highlight the character but I did not like it either, in the end I ended up basing myself on what I always do and made this type of nebula with the same colors of the character; so this would be all for this design practice in which I have had a lot of fun and will probably bring another fighter girl but with another style, I hope you liked the drawing and I thank you very much for the time you take to see my work, until next time bye bye
Para finalizar y he aqui donde viene mi martirio los fondos, la verdad es que esta vez no he podido decidirme por ninguno asi que les mostrare los tres tipos de fondo que hice, la idea original era hacer un cielo y una arena que representase el campo de batalla pero no me gusto para nada el efecto, despues pense en estas franjas que destacasen al personaje pero tampoco me termino de agradar, al final termine basandome en lo que hago siempre y realize este tipo de nebulosa con los mismo colores del personaje; asi que esto seria todo por esta practica de diseño en la cual me he divertido mucho y probablemente traiga otra chica luchadora pero con otro estilo, espero les haya gustado el dibujo y les agradezco mucho el tiempo que se toman viendo mi trabajo, hasta la proximo chauuuuuuuu
