¡Hola amigos! Hoy estoy muy contenta de enseñarles este dibujo que hice con mucho amor, mi gato Tommy es como otro hijo para mi, el amor que le tengo es inmenso y me pareció una idea muy bonita dibujarlo, aunque tenía muchísimo tiempo sin pintar animales y tenia miedo de que quedara horrible al final salio muy bonito, decidí hacerlo con este efecto de pintura ya que sentía que de esta forma seria más facil hacer su pelaje y creo que funciono, además de que tiene este acabado con efecto de pintura que me gusta tanto, algo que quería que resaltara muchísimo en este dibujo son sus hermosos ojos, Tommy es un gato naranja con unos ojos bastante curiosos, a veces se ven verdes y otras veces de un color miel en combinación con amarillo muy lindo, además tiene una mirada super tierna, con sus ojos me transmite mucho amor, inocencia y ternura, realmente me siento satisfecha con este retrato gatuno, espero que les guste.

Today I am very happy to show you this drawing that I made with a lot of love, my cat Tommy is like another son to me, the love I have for him is immense and I thought it was a very nice idea to draw him, although I had a long time without painting animals and I was afraid that it would be horrible in the end it came out very nice, I decided to do it with this paint effect because I felt that this way it would be easier to make his fur and I think it worked, besides it has this paint effect finish that I like so much, something that I wanted to highlight a lot in this drawing are his beautiful eyes, Tommy is an orange cat with quite curious eyes, sometimes they look green and other times of a honey color in combination with yellow very gorgeous, he also has a super tender look, with his eyes he transmits me a lot of love, innocence and tenderness, I really feel satisfied with this cat portrait, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realicé el boceto y luego empecé a rellenar todo el rostro de Tommy con colores naranjas, marrones, rosas, blancos y azules muy claros y pálidos, tambien verde y amarillo para los ojos, intente seguir el patrón de su pelaje pero fue muy complicado, es lo único que siento que falle un poco, en una nueva capa añadí mas colores para darle mejor forma y empezar a mezclar los colores usando un pincel con textura de tiza realmente no detalle demasiado para no arruinar el pelaje, siento que entre mas detallas se ve menos realista, asi que mezcle poco, en los ojos si trabaje bastante con diferentes tonos de verdes, azules y tambien amarillos y por supuesto grandes puntos de luz que suelen verse reflejados en los ojos de los gatos.

I made the sketch and then I started to fill all Tommy's face with orange, brown, pink, white and very light and pale blue colors, also green and yellow for the eyes, I tried to follow the pattern of his fur but it was very complicated, it's the only thing I feel I failed a little bit, in a new layer I added more colors to give it a better shape and start to mix the colors using a brush with a chalk texture, I didn't really detail too much to not ruin the fur, I feel that the more you detail the less realistic it looks, so I mixed little, in the eyes I worked a lot with different shades of green, blue and also yellow and of course big points of light that are usually reflected in the eyes of the cats.

Cambie el fondo a un color marrón oscuro y luego tome colores que use en el retrato para empezar a dar pinceladas y lograr aun mas ese efecto de pintura, tambien agregue detalles de luz resaltando un poco mas los ojos, la nariz y dibujando los bigotes, no había notado que Tommy tiene tantos bigotes y de hecho, me faltaron dibujar mas jajaja, finalmente realice una edición de imagen dándole un poco mas de saturación al dibujo.

I changed the background to a dark brown color and then I took colors that I used in the portrait to start giving brushstrokes and achieve even more that painting effect, I also added light details highlighting a little more the eyes, the nose and drawing the whiskers, I hadn't noticed that Tommy has so many whiskers and in fact, I didn't draw more hahaha, finally I made an image editing giving a little more saturation to the drawing.

Gosh, I live how real his eyes in your drawing. That's just so amazing to achieve that. And Tommy would be so happy for sure if ever he can understand how much you love him.
