Oblivion — Hive

Hola una vez mas amigos, he estado dibujando muchísimo buscando sentirme cómoda con los diferentes estilos que estoy manejando, pero intentando mantener mi esencia viva, por eso hoy les presento uno de esos retratos que tanto me gustan con un rostro semi realista, ojos grandes y una mirada perdida que refleja nostalgia, esta vez utilice colores un poco desaturados, espero que les guste esta obra.

Hello once again friends, I've been drawing a lot looking to feel comfortable with the different styles I'm handling, but trying to keep my essence alive, so today I present one of those portraits that I like so much with a semi realistic face, big eyes and a lost look that reflects nostalgia, this time I used a little desaturated colors, I hope you like this artwork.

Proceso/Process

Mi idea principal solo seria un rostro, las plantas las agregué ya después al final, esta vez quise un rostro bastante cerca y opté por trabajar con una paleta de colores desaturada, así fue como elegí el color piel opaco y comencé a rellenar todo el rostro, con un pincel difuso comencé a añadir sombras y luces para poder guiarme al momento de detallar mejor, en una nueva capa agregué el resto de tonalidades de la piel que darían la forma completa a todos los rasgos.

My main idea would only be a face, the plants I added them later at the end, this time I wanted a pretty close face and I chose to work with a desaturated color palette, so I chose the opaque skin color and began to fill the whole face, with a diffuse brush I began to add shadows and lights to guide me when detailing better, in a new layer I added the rest of the skin tones that would give the complete shape to all the features.

Parte por parte fui mezclando todas las tonalidades entre sí dándole esa suavidad al rostro y realismo que tanto me gusta, para los ojos use un color verde bastante claro y verde oscuro para los bordes del iris, agregue un punto de luz que hace una diferencia enorme en los ojos, dándole así más vida, el cabello lo pinte completamente de negro y luego agregue unos reflejos de un azul casi gris desaturado, luego pinte la ropa y una gota pequeña de sangre saliendo de la nariz, para el fondo utilice algo que me encanta y que casi siempre utilizo, un cielo con nubes de una tonalidad casi gris, comencé a darle mas detalles al rostro y a dar mas sombras y profundidad en algunas zonas, para este punto se me ocurrió agregar unas plantas en frente con un desenfoque, la verdad me gusto bastante esta idea, para finalizar hice un ajuste de color en el cual edite un poco la exposición, saturación y sombras del dibujo.

Part by part I was mixing all the shades together giving that softness to the face and realism that I like so much, for the eyes I used a fairly light green color and dark green for the edges of the iris, I added a point of light that makes a huge difference in the eyes, giving it more life, I painted the hair completely black and then I added some reflections of an almost gray desaturated blue, then I painted the clothes and a small drop of blood coming out of the nose, for the background I used something that I love and that I almost always use, a sky with clouds of an almost gray tonality, I began to give more details to the face and to give more shadows and depth in some zones, for this point it occurred to me to add some plants in front with a blur, I really liked this idea, to finish I did a color adjustment in which I edited a little the exposure, saturation and shadows of the drawing.
