Portrait with oil painting effect

Feliz domingo amigos.

Hoy les comparto un retrato que realicé el día de hoy, recientemente tuve la oportunidad de cambiar de Photoshop 2018 a Photoshop 2022, tambien adquirí nuevos pínceles con efectos bastante interesantes ya armé una carpeta de los pinceles que mas me gustan para usarlos mas seguido en mis próximos dibujos, al principio me costó adaptarme y colocar todo a mi gusto como lo tenia en el anterior Photoshop, pero me gusta mucho mas este, hoy empecé con retrato, usando diferentes pinceles para llegar al resultado final, para el boceto use un pincel que parece literalmente un lápiz, se ven tan lindos los trazos que no podía creerlo, aunque aun no me acostumbro a estos nuevos pinceles y siento que el dibujo quedo bastante definido para lo que buscaba que era algo mas rustico y con efecto de oleo.

Today I share with you a portrait that I made today, recently I had the opportunity to switch from Photoshop 2018 to Photoshop 2022, I also acquired new brushes with very interesting effects, I already made a folder of the brushes that I like the most to use them more often in my next drawings, at first it was hard to adapt and place everything to my liking as I had it in the previous Photoshop, but I like this one much more, today I started with a portrait, using different brushes to get to the final result, for the sketch I used a brush that literally looks like a pencil, the strokes look so nice that I could not believe it, although I am still not used to these new brushes and I feel that the drawing was quite defined for what I was looking for which was something more rustic and with an oil effect.

Proceso/Process

Esta vez quería un retrato con muchos tonos rosas, entonces empecé mi boceto y luego empecé a elegir los colores, son rosas pálidos y algunos un poco mas brillantes para las mejillas y zonas de luces, los coloque en toda la piel y luego añadí una nueva capa donde aplique más colores dándole asi forma al rostro, continue mezclando todos los colores para dejar una piel mas realista pero aun con algo de textura, pinte las cejas y pestañas, también le di forma a la boca usando un rojo bastante fuerte. Para el cabello use un marrón oscuro, me encanta ese dúo de ojos claros con cabello oscuro es algo que a mi parecer se ve super hermoso.

This time I wanted a portrait with a lot of pink tones, so I started my sketch and then I started to choose the colors, they are pale pinks and some a little brighter for the cheeks and highlights, I put them all over the skin and then I added a new layer where I applied more colors giving shape to the face, I continued mixing all the colors to leave a more realistic skin but still with some texture, I painted the eyebrows and eyelashes, I also gave shape to the mouth using a pretty strong red. For the hair I used a dark brown, I love the duo of light eyes and dark hair, it's something that in my opinion looks super beautiful.

Como siempre, me gusta agregar mas color al rostro, asi que añadí algunos enrojecimientos en las mejillas, nariz y debajo de los ojos, quise agregar un poco de sangre saliendo de la nariz, pero sin exagerar y también una herida un poco mas arriba, también agregue iluminaciones al cabello para darle mejor forma, después de que todo estaba listo, empecé a experimentar un poco con los nuevos pinceles, algunos tienen ese efecto de pincel húmedo pero son bastante fuertes aunque le baje las propiedades, el trazo sigue siendo bastante fuerte, quizás aun no aprendo muy bien a como usarlos, en fin, use varios pinceles alrededor de la silueta para crear ese efecto de pintura que tanto me gusta, después agregue una capa de luces, iluminando el rostro, ojos y labios, finalice editando la imagen un poco, ajustando los colores muy levemente con la herramientas de curvas y también aumente un poco la saturación.

As always, I like to add more color to the face, so I added some reddening on the cheeks, nose and under the eyes, I wanted to add some blood coming out of the nose, but without exaggerating and also a wound a little higher up, I also added highlights to the hair to give it a better shape, after everything was ready, I started to experiment a little with the new brushes, some have that wet brush effect but they are quite strong even though I lowered the properties, the stroke is still quite strong, maybe I still don't know how to use them, anyway, I used several brushes around the silhouette to create that painting effect that I like so much, then I added a layer of lights, illuminating the face, eyes and lips, I finished editing the image a little bit, adjusting the colors very slightly with the curves tool and I also increased the saturation a little bit.
