Red light — Hive

Buenas noches amigos. Hoy quise hacer un dibujo diferente, experimente con tonalidades rojizas, rosas y azules, hace mucho tiempo quería hacer algo asi pero lo intente varias veces y no me gusto, hoy decidí hacerlo a pesar de que no me quedara bien y realmente si me gusto, siento que podría hacerlo mejor pero al menos ya di el primer paso y puedo practicar para una próxima oportunidad, ha sido bastante curioso trabajar en este dibujo ya que el manejo de estos dos colores sobre todo el azul que se encuentra en una profunda sombra es bastante complicado, una combinación interesante y llena de retos, espero que les guste.

Today I wanted to do a different drawing, I experimented with red, pink and blue tones, I wanted to do something like this a long time ago but I tried several times and I did not like it, today I decided to do it even though it did not look good and I really liked it, I feel I could do it better but at least I took the first step and I can practice for a next opportunity, it has been quite curious to work on this drawing because the handling of these two colors especially the blue that is in a deep shadow is quite complicated, an interesting combination and full of challenges, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realice el boceto y empecé a colocar los colores, utilice morados, azules oscuros, rosas y algunos tonos rojos saturados, quería colocar sombra muy oscura en la parte inferior del rostro y mayor iluminación en la frente y mejillas, en una nueva capa coloque mas colores para darle mejor forma al rostro, cambie el fondo a un color oscuro, luego empecé a mezclar los colores del rostro, pero manteniendo algo de textura.

I made the sketch and started to place the colors, I used purples, dark blues, pinks and some saturated red tones, I wanted to place very dark shadow in the lower part of the face and more illumination in the forehead and cheeks, in a new layer I placed more colors to give better shape to the face, I changed the background to a dark color, then I started to mix the colors of the face but keeping some texture.

Pinte el Cabello sin darle demasiado detalles ya que está en la zona de oscuridad, luego agregue iluminaciones al rostro para resaltar mejor los ojos, nariz y la frente, para terminar edite el dibujo aumentando un poco la saturación y dándole tonalidades un poco mas rojizas.

Paint the hair without giving too much detail as it is in the dark area, then add highlights to the face to better highlight the eyes, nose and forehead, to finish edit the drawing by increasing the saturation a little and giving it a little more reddish tones.
