Two faces — Hive

Buenas noches amigos. Quería hacer un dibujo colorido y mi primera idea fue hacerlo completamente azul, sin embargo, cambie algunas cosas durante el proceso, agregar un toque de rosa fuerte jugando con los efectos de las capas siento que le dio un cambio bastante positivo al dibujo y entonces decidí que un lado del rostro (el rosa) sería diferente al otro, dándole una mirada un poco mas fuerte y enojada, además de facciones marcadas de una forma mas rustica, mientras el lado azul seria mas suave y con una expresión mas neutral, el cambio me gusto mucho y espero que a ustedes tambien les guste.

Good evening friends.
I wanted to make a colorful drawing and my first idea was to make it completely blue, however, I changed some things during the process, adding a touch of strong pink playing with the effects of the layers I feel that gave a very positive change to the drawing and then I decided that one side of the face (the pink) would be different from the other, giving it a look a little stronger and angry, plus features marked in a more rustic way, while the blue side would be softer and with a more neutral expression, I really liked the change and I hope you like it too.

Proceso/Process

Realice el boceto y la elección de colores, como les mencioné anteriormente quería tonalidades azules, realmente tenia una idea mas bonita en mente, pero al final no quise desarrollarla, me sentía en un modo más dark, empecé a aplicar los tonos en el rostro jugando con azules oscuro y claros y tambien morado en los labios, luego agregue mas colores en una nueva capa para darle la forma correcta a toda la piel, empecé a mezclar los colores hasta tener una piel mas suave, en este punto se me ocurrió cambiar las cosas un poco y fue cuando empecé a hacer una mirada diferente en el ojo derecho.

I made the sketch and the choice of colors, as I mentioned before I wanted blue tones, I really had a nicer idea in mind, but in the end I didn't want to develop it, I felt in a darker mood today, I started to apply the tones on the face playing with dark and light blues and also purple on the lips, then I added more colors in a new layer to give the right shape to the whole skin, I started to mix the colors until I had a softer skin, at this point I thought to change things a little and that's when I started to make a different look on the right eye.

Pinte el cabello que al principio seria corto pero decidí hacer una cabellera larga y ondulada, la pinte con azul oscuro y luego añadí iluminaciones con azul claro, luego empecé a jugar con colores en una nueva capa, decidí que el rosa le quedaba muy bien y para lograr que se vea asi realice un ajuste de capa, luego agregue iluminaciones en zonas que quería resaltar y finalmente hice un pequeño ajuste de color aumentando la saturación.

I painted the hair that at first would be short but I decided to make a long and wavy hair, I painted it with dark blue and then I added highlights with light blue, then I started to play with colors in a new layer, I decided that pink was very good and to make it look that way I made a layer adjustment, then I added lights in areas I wanted to highlight and finally I made a small color adjustment increasing the saturation.
