Buenas noches amigos. Después de una tanda de dibujos un poco más coloridos y alegres me sentí de humor para volver a lo que mas me gusta a donde me siento mas cómoda, un retrato nostálgico con tonos desaturados y a la vez cálidos, una mirada triste y muchos detalles realistas. Disfrute mucho pintando este retrato, siempre que hago algo de este estilo aunque este triste mientras lo hago me llena el alma, me ayuda a veces a desahogarme o incluso cuando estoy bien me hace sentir mejor, por que siempre quise enfocarme en estos sobre todas las cosas, claro que me encanta aprender otros estilos y explorar nuevas paletas de colores, eso me agrada muchísimo pero nada como volver a tus orígenes, en fin, espero que les guste.

After a batch of drawings a little more colorful and cheerful I felt in the mood to return to what I like the most where I feel more comfortable, a nostalgic portrait with desaturated tones and at the same time warm, a sad look and many realistic details.
I really enjoyed painting this portrait, whenever I do something in this style even if I'm sad while I do it it fills my soul, sometimes it helps me to let off steam or even when I'm well it makes me feel better, because I always wanted to focus on these above all things, of course I love to learn other styles and explore new color palettes, that pleases me a lot but nothing like going back to your origins, anyway, I hope you enjoy it.

Proceso/Process

Este dibujo lo comencé anoche, estoy aprovechando estos días de vacaciones por la semana santa que se celebra en mi país, para poder dibujar tranquilamente, sin embargo, el dibujo lo termine hoy por la tarde ya que intente darle muchos detalles realistas a la piel, realice el boceto y luego elegí los colores que colocaría en la piel, tonos piel cálidos una cama de marrones para las sombras y otros mas claros o con tonalidades rosas en donde iría la luz, añadí una nueva capa y agregue aún más colores dándole asi una mejor forma al rostro, mano y hombro, empecé a mezclar todos los tonos para dejar una piel mas suave pero aun asi manteniendo algo de textura, todo este paso fue pintado con un pincel duro sencillo y una opacidad del 60% dejando asi esa textura que buscaba. Normalmente pinto los cabellos en capas separadas, pero nunca estamos a salvo de cometer errores, entonces sin darme cuenta pinté sobre la misma capa de piel el cabello jajaa ya había dado muchos detalles como para borrarlo o deshacer, decidí simplemente seguir con mi dibujo sin tener miedo a nada.

I started this drawing last night, I am taking advantage of these days of vacation for the holy week that is celebrated in my country, to be able to draw calmly, however, I finished the drawing today in the afternoon since I tried to give many realistic details to the skin, I made the sketch and then I chose the colors that I would place in the skin, warm skin tones, a bed of browns for the shadows and other lighter or pink tones where the light would go, I added a new layer and added even more colors giving a better shape to the face, hand and shoulder, I started to mix all the tones to leave a softer skin but still keeping some texture, all this step was painted with a simple hard brush and an opacity of 60% leaving that texture I was looking for.
Normally I paint the hair in separate layers but we are never safe from making mistakes, so without realizing I painted over the same layer of skin the hair hahaa I had already given too much detail to erase or undo it, I decided to just continue with my drawing without being afraid of anything.

Después añadí iluminaciones en el cabello con marrón claro sin dar tantos detalles para no exagerar, también algunas sombras con un marrón más oscuro. Pinte las cejas y pestañas, luego quise colocar un piercing en su nariz lo pinte con gris claro y un gris oscuro, cree una nueva capa de luces para empezar a resaltar los ojos, la nariz, labios y cabello, finalmente tome mi dibujo y realice un ajuste de color aumentando un poco la saturación y detalles de cada trazo hasta estar contenta con el resultado.

Then I added highlights in the hair with light brown without giving so many details so as not to exaggerate, also some shadows with a darker brown.
I painted the eyebrows and eyelashes, then I wanted to place a piercing in her nose I painted it with light gray and a dark gray, I created a new layer of lights to start highlighting the eyes, nose, lips and hair, finally I took my drawing and made a color adjustment increasing a little the saturation and details of each stroke until I was happy with the result.
