It's been a while since I left art school, decades in fact, and I didn't achieve any kind of notoriety that I once dreamed of for my scratchings. But it never leaves you, the hours of drawing and dreaming leave their psychological mark at least.
So many years later I find myself still exploring new mediums and expressions, seeking an outlet for the imagination. However, its not easy for an old dog to let go of old skills, and although I've found a new outlet in the form of digital art, I just can't help but approach it with the contemplation I would have given a canvas and paints. I think it still works though.
