Ballet Dance ii - Pen Study

Good day Hivers! Today I'll be sharing another quick drawing of a ballet dancer.

In this style of ballet dancing. The man stands as a support for the woman to execute her body flows. Quite synonymous to when a stripper in a club dances around a pole.

I made emphasis on the woman figure and blurred the details of the man a little bit because I wanted her to be the focus of this drawing, complimenting the spiral strokes that extends from her body.

I made this drawing with black pen on paper using the cross-hatching technique.

Great drawing. That technique looks simple but it's actually hard to manage.
It is great to transmit the idea of movement. Well done

Thanks a lot. Yeah! It was hard to manage because the pen I am using is starting to loose too much ink which at times ruin some parts that doesn't need darkness in my drawing. I might look into getting a correctional pen to fix that.
