I’m a little late on the challenge, but as always it’s never ever too late! As I painted the still life, everything just seemed to be going wrong, which was discouraging in its own way. I barely draw objects as they are on a normal day, so painting the jug wasn’t too easy. I did what I could before moving on to the next day’s prompt, which if I’m to be honest is my comfort zone. I love fruits and flowers, so I actually enjoy painting/drawing them.
Enough talk, let’s dive into the painting!
Day 2 - Fruits
Materials : I made use of Staedtler pencils, Van Gogh water color and my Sinoart sketchbook
Cherries are really fun to paint, so I created a sketch of the cherry and went on to pop a character of mine in the background. I shaded the character first before going on to paint the cherry. This turned out nice ; )
Day 1- Still Life
I started off with a sketch of my reference, which in this case was a jug. The sketch turned out okay and I began painting. I don’t know what happened, but somewhere around stage 4, the painting went sideways. I’m thinking it might have been the colors I used for the background and foreground. The painting didn’t turn out too bad, but I’m hoping to improve ; )

Awwn, that’s so coool, I guess we’re matching now😆 it’s a good brand tbh. It took some time getting used to it cause the colors looked dull to me at first, but with practice i got better. You’ll definitely enjoy the paint🙃🌸❤️
