Hello HIVE, i am happy to show you a painting i produced. It is categorised under classical painting. This painting was motivated by my study on the classical period of Art. During this period, only few African artists produced paintings that relates to the classical period.
In this painting i decided to simplify the various characteristics of classical period. I made used of simple lagos landscape and seascape. I also made use of gray to create a soft background. I made use of a black royal lady dressed in a royal purple dress.
The purpose of creating this painting is to crsatea calm and a cool atmosphere. I.e tha atmosphere of comfort, meekness, love and acceptance.
