In many ways, designing a house is relatively easy because of the references that I can find over the internet. That being said, it’s also difficult to be unique and stand out among the many designs out there.
To be unique in some way, designers have to find inspiration from unlikely references. Most of the famous architectural designs took inspiration from a completely unrelated object. Some buildings are inspired by a bird, praying hand, crumpled paper, a segment of an orange, and so on.
Having that in mind, I took today’s design into a different area of art. My design for this 3d visual was inspired by an avant-garde painting. Let me show you the final result:
The specific painting that inspired my architectural design is a piece by Alexandra Exter which is called “Construction”.
What interests me the most by this painting is the placement of dynamic lines and the boldness of colors. I also think that there is a good balance between the colors as well; none is too prominent compared to each other.
The way I relate my house design to the painting is the use of bold colors and paint it over the facade of the house. I also utilize the dynamic lines and sort of drawn it over the face as well. Of course, I had to consider the effect of the facade into the interior spaces of the house. The external form has to be connected to the spaces inside the house.
Overall, I really enjoy the experience of designing this avant-garde inspired house. Nad I hope you enjoyed viewing my post as well. Here are some of the snapshots of the scene overview:
Thanks!
Amazing!!
