Drawing Practice: Learning To Draw and Shade a Sphere

Happy new year 2023.

In my drawing practice today, I learned how to draw and shade a Sphere using HB pencil.

I began began the process by drawing a plane circle.

Then I added a light source to get the direction of the shadow.

Then I drew the position of the shadow.

I later shaded the areas of the circle to give it the appearance of a sphere.

Today is the first day of 2023, and it marks the beginning of my drawing goal for 2023.

I will learn to draw in 2023.
