Que pasa gente, como estan? sean bienvenidos a un nuevo post, espero les guste, hoy estuve trabajando en un retrato con colores frios y una mirada algo triste, espero les guste.

Process / Proceso

Once the sketch is done I start to place the colors on the face, this time using a palette with cold colors, because what I tried to convey was something of sadness, loneliness or tranquility, any similar feeling, after placing the colors of the skin I blurred them to add some shadows and shines on it.

Una vez esta hecho el boceto comienzo a colocar los colores en la cara, esta vez usando una paleta con colores frios, porque lo que intente transmitir fue algo de tristeza, soledad o tranquilidad, cualquier sentimiento parecido, después de colocar los colores de la piel los difumine para añadir algunas sombras y brillos en el mismo.

After softening the colors and adding shimmers and such, I started painting the hair with black strands all over the canvas, leaving some lighter spaces to give the appearance of shimmers in the hair, when I had placed most of the black color I started working the light blue color in hair, first with a fairly strong blue that decreased in intensity little by little as it goes down the hair.

Después de suavizar los colores y añadir brillos y demás, comencé a pintar el pelo con mechones negros por todo el lienzo, dejando algunos espacios mas claros para dar el aspecto de brillos en el pelo, cuando ya había colocado la mayoría del color negro comencé a trabajar el color azul claro en pelo, primero con un azul bastante fuerte que disminuía su intensidad poco a poco mientras baja por el pelo.

As finishing touches I added some shimmers on the face, stronger shadows in addition to placing a general glow on the whole image and little dots of color.
