A mysterious witch.
En lo profundo del bosque, ella reside, esa practicante de las magias prohibidas, una mujer misteriosa y de mucha agudeza. Ten cuidado de ella, pues fue exiliada de la orden sagrada por sus tendencias sombrías, ahora sólo tiene como compañía a las criaturas oscuras.
Deep in the forest, she lives, that practitioner of the forbidden magic, a mysterious and sharp woman. Beware of her, for she was exiled from the holy order due to her dark tendencies, now she only has dark creatures as company.
El concepto de este personaje surgió de la idea de crear una a una mujer joven que tuviera un aire de oscuridad e intriga. Este es uno de los posibles diseños para la bruja Ingda, ya que el anterior se veía muy dulce y suave, y necesitaba algo con mas intensidad, que transmitiera una personalidad más fuerte.
The concept for this character came from the idea of creating a young woman with an air of darkness and intrigue. This is one of the possible designs for Ingda the witch, since the previous one looked too sweet and soft, and I needed something more intense, that could show a stronger personality.
Primero comienzo con el bosquejo básico como de costumbre. Luego empiezo el coloreado. Lo trazo varias veces hasta que quede aceptable.
First, I started with the basic sketch like usual. Then I started coloring it. I traced it several times until it looked acceptable.
Continuo con este proceso, sigo coloreando y experimentado un poco con las luces y las sombras, modificando algunos detalles, hasta tener una idea más clara de lo que quiero plantear.
I continue with this process, coloring it and experimenting a bit with the lights and shadows, modifying some details, until I have a clearer idea of what I want to present.
Luego me enfoco en el rostro. Trato de darle un toque intenso a los ojos y una expresión de apatía para capturar esa sensación de ligero desagrado.
Then I put my focus on the face. I try to give an intense aspect to the eyes and an expression of apathy to capture that feeling of slight displeasure on her face.
Y finalmente continuo con el cabello, sin dibujar los flequillos aún ya que esos serán parte de la animación. Termino haciendo 5 movimientos del cabello que luego coloco en un bucle que se repite de manera ascendente y descendente.
And finally, I continue with the hair, without drawing the bangs yet since those will be part of the hair animation. I ended up doing 5 movements for it, which were then placed in a loop that repeats itself up and down.
Dibujo un escenario sencillo, un árbol y el cielo de fondo. Modifico la iluminación y el sombreado y difumino algunas partes.
I draw a simple background, a tree with the sky in the back. I change the lighting and shading and blur some parts of it.
Coloco el dibujo con todos los detalles terminados sobre el dibujo del árbol borroso para darle un enfoque más fuerte al personaje.
I place the drawing with all the finished details on top of the blurred drawing of the tree to give a stronger focus to the character.
Y ese es todo el proceso terminado.
