Greetings Hiver friends, How are you doing? A blissful Sunday to everyone! Today I am going to share my recent art created with coffee powder. This is a beautiful piece of art inspired by nature.
Nature's Tranquility is a painting that portrays the peace and calmness of the importance of the natural world. This artwork illustrates the tranquility of the scene where everything is in perfect harmony, capturing the stillness of water, the gentle movement of leaves, the swaying of grass, and the vibrant light. The composition of the painting is proportional and balanced.
I used three types of painting brushes for this art. It took me an hour to finish this.
For those who want to try to paint using this unique medium, you can follow the basic methods below.
Materials Needed:
π Watercolor Paper or sketching Paper
π Pencil and Eraser
π Coffee Powder
π 2 small cups ( lighter and darker shades)
π Ruler
π Clean Water
π Rag
π Paper napkin or paper towel
Brushes:
π Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
π Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
π Filbert brush
Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.
Basic Procedure:
β’ Outline or sketch of your painting reference.
β’ Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
β’ On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
β’ The same procedure with the foreground.
β’ Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
β’ Then add details to come alive of your painting. I used a liner brush for thin details.
Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.

Beautiful painting you have created with coffee. In my city there is a plastic artist who has used this technique for his works for many years and his exhibitions are truly surprising. His name is EfraΓn HechavarrΓa. He has painted several portraits with coffee and they give a very ingenious nuance to the paintings. Not to mention the delicious smell that spreads throughout the gallery. For me, it would be a luxury to have a painting painted with coffee, well, I am addicted to that drink, to have it as decoration at home and for it to give off that aroma all the time, wow!!!
