Art Journal: Serene Meadow at Sunset| Coffee Painting β˜•πŸ–ŒοΈ

Hello, dear art lovers! I hope this message finds you well. It fills my heart with happiness to share my latest artwork with you, created with love using coffee powder. Your thoughts and feelings about it would truly mean the world to me.

This serene meadow at sunset represents a refuge from the struggles we all face. It invites us to take a moment for ourselves, to breathe deeply, and to soak in the simple yet profound beauty of nature. Close your eyes and envision being there, enveloped by the warm glow of the setting sun and the calming stillness of the meadow.

Watching the reflections dance on the water during a meadow sunset can be such a soothing experience. It's an opportunity to not only admire nature's incredible artistry but also to recognize the gentle interplay of light and shadow. In these quiet moments, we can find solace, reminding ourselves of the beauty that surrounds usβ€”if only we take a moment to truly notice.

I used three types of painting brushes for this piece and it took me one hour and a half to finish it. For those who are interested in trying this unique medium, you can follow the basic methods below.

πŸ‘‰ Pencil and Eraser
πŸ‘‰ Coffee Powder

Basic Procedure:
β€’ Outline or sketch your painting reference.
β€’ Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
β€’ On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
β€’ The same procedure with the foreground.
β€’ Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
β€’ Then add details to come alive of your painting. I used a liner brush for the thin details.

Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.
