Greetings Hiver friends, How are you doing? A blissful day to everyone! Welcome to my art blog. Today I created another interesting piece of art made of coffee as a medium. This is a delightful picturesque scene that is truly breathtaking, It's a moment of peacefulness amid the natural beauty.
The sunset at the lake house is a thrilling view. The soothing atmosphere is filled with a sense of peace and stillness, making it the perfect moment to calm down and appreciate the beauty of nature.
I used three types of painting brushes for this art. It took me forty-four minutes to finish this piece.
For those who want to try to paint using this unique medium, you can follow the basic methods below.
Materials Needed:
π Watercolor Paper or sketching Paper
π Pencil and Eraser
π Coffee Powder
π 2 small cups ( lighter and darker shades)
π Ruler
π Clean Water
π Rag
π Paper napkin or paper towel
Brushes:
π Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
π Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
π Filbert brush
Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.
Basic Procedure:
β’ Outline or sketch of your painting reference.
β’ Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
β’ On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
β’ The same procedure with the foreground.
β’ Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
β’ Then add details to come alive of your painting. I used a liner brush for thin details.
Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.
