Though I'm a watercolour painter, I also like to try out other mediums to improve my skills and flexibility; like painting this watermelons with oil pastel.
Started the sketch with light colours of red and lemon green.
Proceeded to adding different shades of green, red, purple, orange, brown and black.
Dominant colours of red and green are more visible but the extra hues I mentioned, adds a more realistic effect to the painting.
