Good day folks! It's Cryptobeaglet again!
In this blog I will share with ya'll how I gained back my appetite on making sketches and drawing again.
If you have already seen my blog profile, It s all about multiple hobbies that I've been doing, and mostly are outdoor activities.
There is nothing wrong learning and exploring new things, In my case since I've been busy with a lot of stuff and adulthood striked me, I lost my time and enthusiasm with visual arts.
Since I was a kid my first love and passion was doing quick sketches, charcoal drawing and mural painting. I can say that I have a bit of an edge than other kid when it comes to visual arts. As I grow older, I learned new things, discovered other talent, and find something more interesting, gradually I lost my time and apetite to enhance my talent in drawing and that was like 10 more years.
Now, as the world almost stopped due to pandemic. I was forced to work at home. Then, there was a time that we lost our internet connection for several days, we have run out of stuff to do to kill the boredom so, we do our regular general cleaning at home. My 5 year old daughter found my charcoal pencil set and she asked why those pencil looked different than those pencil she use at school. I showed her how to use those different shades of pen and also some drawing techniques. At some point something really striked me, and that was the thought that I can still draw, It didnt fade, it was the same even I tend to forget and gets busy with something else, It never gets dull and now I can teach my kid the love of arts that was once I really loved doing. So from then on, I always find some free time to make quick sketches with my wife and daughter added to our bonding time.
During this pandemic, I know that a lot of us are going through some tough times. We should always look on the positive side of things and grab the opportunity and time that we have. not just to learn new things but also to nurture our existing talent and passion. It is also a very healthy way to relieve stress.
I know that the world is tough but so are you!
P.S I will be more than glad to post more of my sketches and drawing here in my blog channel.
