Here’s a recent dog portrait I painted in water mixable oils. He really didn’t take very long to paint, but hopefully will be treasured by the dog’s owner for a long time. He’s a mixed breed dog that the owner rescued from a shelter, but he’s very handsome and smart. He’s pure muscle and very intense, but in a playful, not aggressive way. I hope I captured that in the portrait.
