DATO CURIOSO #1: MI FOBIA / CURIOUS FACT: MY PHOBIA

Tengo una fobia que adquirí cuando estaba muy pequeño y es parte de la historia de “LA GRAN PERDIDA” si no sabes a qué te hablo revisar los post anterior, pronto tendrá su “STORYTIME”. Lo cierto es que hasta el día de hoy esa fobia me acompaña y me puede generar mucho estrés, tuve una situación recientemente qué me inspiró para hacer este post.

Mi fobia está relacionada con las ranas, y si, son pequeños animales que realmente huyen de las personas pero a mí me genera un rechazo enorme, un miedo que no controlo por unos breves segundos. Sin embargo siempre busco de darle algo positivo o de encontrar la oportunidad en la amenaza y como buen productor de cómics tuve que crear un personaje referente a las ranas.

Lo bueno de los 90s es que tuve muchas buenas referencias, agarré un poco de todo, hice una mezcla y salió este personaje.

I have a phobia that I acquired when I was very small and it is part of the story of "THE BIG LOST" if you don't know what I'm talking about check the previous post, soon it will have its "STORYTIME". The truth is that to this day that phobia accompanies me and can generate a lot of stress, I had a situation recently that inspired me to make this post.

My phobia is related to frogs, and yes, they are small animals that really run away from people but to me it generates a huge rejection, a fear that I can't control for a few seconds. However, I always try to give something positive or to find the opportunity in the threat and as a good comic producer I had to create a character related to frogs.

The good thing about the 90s is that I had many good references, I took a little bit of everything, I made a mix and this character came out.

Su nombre es tan simple y sencillo como “La Rana”. En un primer momento quise darle sus orígenes en la cultura egipcia, años más tarde decidí aprovechar las culturas que están en Sudamérica que también tienen mucho contenido atractivo y qué no han sido muy bien explotadas.

Por ahora no voy a dar tantas detalles del personaje porque ya vendrá un post donde hablaré de todos esos personajes que cree en los 90s. Este post es para enseñar una forma de ser creativo con las cosas que vivimos día tras día. Yo hice de mi fobia un personaje y también tiene un villano que es otra rana.

For now I will not give so many details of the character because there will come a post where I will talk about all those characters that I created in the 90s. This post is to show a way to be creative with the things we live day after day. I made a character out of my phobia and he also has a villain who is another frog.

Aquí le muestro una foto de la rana que estuvo en mi baño fue un proceso muy largo para capturarla y la libere en el patio de mi casa, así que el animalito no sufrió ningún daño, de hecho hasta pude tocarlo.

Here is a picture of the frog that was in my bathroom, it was a very long process to capture it and I released it in the backyard of my house, so the animal did not suffer any damage, in fact I could even touch it.
