Good evening, I wish you a pleasant evening. This time I return to the birds a little these beautiful beings and as usual I want to tell you a little about it.
Hemispingo Dorsigrís (Poospiza goeringi) is endemic to the Venezuelan Andes, these are only found in the regions of Mérida and north of Táchira in western Venezuela, being considered rare.
Attractive small tanager with contrasting plumage: slate gray above, orange below, with a black mask and bright white eyebrows. Both sexes are similar, however, the male is more orange. Often found in pairs, small groups, or mixed flocks. Uncommon in a high altitude cloud forest, dwarf forest, and bamboo edges, it usually forages in the lower levels of the forest. His song is a fast, energetic series of jumbled notes. There are no similar species that have their plumage pattern and prominent eyebrows.

Atractiva tángara pequeña con contrastante plumaje: gris pizarra por encima, anaranjada por debajo, con una máscara negra y cejas blanco brillante. Ambos sexos son similares, sin embargo, el macho es más anaranjado. Frecuentemente encontrada en parejas, pequeños grupos o bandadas mixtas. Es poco común en bosque nublado de altura, bosque enano y bordes de bambú, normalmente busca alimento en los niveles más bajos del bosque. Su canto es una serie energética y rápida de notas desordenadas. No existen especies similares que posean su patrón de plumaje y sus prominentes cejas.
