Sketch for new painting

I felt like painting a lady and a bunny the other day and so I did. I felt I was still being 'focused' in that I've done such made up portraits before.

Watercolor added to play with color, of course my lady is a Ginger

I always feel more "focused" when I'm working on a series and my "ladies and their pets" series was really born of my increasing desire to paint ladies and put animals with them in odd ways.

Here is one from the series , lady with a pink cat:

I've done others as well.

I wondered if I should call it Ginger Ladies with their petsas I always seem to default to red hair when painting my made up portraits.

I will eventually do this lady in digital oils and pastels to fit in with my series. I'm actually going to be getting all my works, thus far, on proper canvas and may hand them in a room at home. I think they'd be wonderful in a sitting room, don't you?
