Hola amigos y amigas de hive! el dia de hoy voy a dibujar una serpiente, ¿por que una serpiente? las serpientes son uno de mis animales favoritos por varios aspectos: su extraña forma y "diseño" es intrigante, han desarrollado estrategias de locomoción particulares, la variedad de colores y tamaños que existen son hermosos, es uno de los animales mas temidos por su mordida venenosa, pero a pesar de esto, el veneno también es utilizado para distintos medicamentos importantes. por esa y por mas razones hoy quiero invitarlos a acompañarme durante el proceso de este dibujo. comencemos

Materiales/Materials
Lapices H2, B2 B4 y B6, Pagina blanca, borra, sacapuntas.
H2, B2, B4 and B6 pencils, white page, eraser, sharpener.
Proceso/Process
Comienzo haciendo el boceto, dibujando la forma del cuerpo y la cabeza con trazos simples y apenas visibles usando un lápiz 2H, esto me ayudara a explorar y captar la figura de la serpiente rápidamente y también para hacer nuevos trazos por encima para mejorar su aspecto..
I start by sketching, drawing the shape of the body and head with simple and barely visible strokes using a 2H pencil, this will help me to explore and grasp the figure of the snake quickly and also to make new strokes on top to improve its appearance.
Desde aquí comienzo a agregar detalles a la boca, usando un lápiz 4B para las partes de la boca que tienen profundidad, y uso un lápiz 2B para las sombras.
From here I start adding details to the mouth, using a 4B pencil for the parts of the mouth that have depth, and I use a 2B pencil for the shadows.
Aquí empiezo a darle forma al cuello agregando detalles y textura utilizando el lápiz 2H,2B y B6 para las partes mas oscuras, las escamas del cuello son mas pequeñas y delgadas y a medida que se van expandiendo por el cuerpo se vuelven mas grandes hasta llegar al final donde empezaran a disminuir su tamaño.
Here I start to shape the neck adding details and texture using the 2H, 2B and B6 pencil for the darker parts, the scales on the neck are smaller and thinner and as they expand through the body they become larger until they reach the end where they begin to decrease in size.
Esta parte del cuerpo esta lista, solo falta hacer una segunda porción mas de su cuerpo ya que a quedado muy corta, asi que empiezo a hacer varios bocetos..
This part of the body is ready, we only need to make a second portion of its body since it has been very short, so I start to make several sketches..
Resultado Final/Final Result
Listo!!
