Today I did some Loomis head practice with my friend. I started with a simple 2/3 head position with him hugging his pillow
I'm learning using my wrist and shoulders. I think I messed up the nose a bit. The structure lines are very vivid. But I like that I got the face proportions. I think the shading is nice. Weirdly, he isn't posing for me.
He was just sleeping when he was supposed to read.
I messed up the facial proportions here.
I feel like his face was a little bit flatter than is should normally be. But the exercise was not to get it right..It was just to get it done. Plus there was a power outage and my battery was dead so, why not.
A man and his pillow
He kept moving, I felt this was an opportunity to practice thumbnail, I guess? Anyway...
I tried to bury the structure lines in this one. cause...its the back of his head...its just a circle and square...
He has 2 ears...The second circle in the side of the head from Loomis is hard to visualise though.
A rolling stone
This time, I get to show his bit of foreshortening from under the head. I liked it very much. The forehead is small, the nose region is bigger and the chin is the biggest. All my Loomis and Rielly lines paid off.
This is for my fan base
See the real fan here
@bhoa went to work after sleeping all those hours and I needed other things to draw. Weirdly the OX on the fan is hardly visable.
What is this?
Is it for ewa???!!(Only Nigerians will get that)
#Here is the Real Picture
