Should I Draw More Large Sizes Works? By EdgarsArt

Size

What is the difference of the size of the drawing?
Does size make difference to you?
Can you be impacted by the sze of an artwork?

I was thinking recently should I start drawing larger size drawings again.
Thishasbeen the largest drawing in mycarrier so far. I remeber it took me overall 2 months to finish. And more than 200 drawing hours.

If we speak about selling, then no. I have not sold this work+It would go for a really hug price, since to ship this drawing somewhere alone would cost quite a lot.
But there are other benefits in creating this too. Exhibitions, maybe a video in the making of this, And also who knows, maybe someday someone will purchase it too.
I am really more impressed myself by a larger size works.
In my carrier I am drawing and creating every day. I am searching for something where I could reach and try to overcome my limits. Size could be one of the tools.

If I could create at the same level I can create now a piece, which would be 5 times larger than it usually is. Will it be more impressive? Now that is the question

Thank you😊

Yes, you should definitely do more large works. It looks amazing

Thanks so much😊

I think you should do at least A3 and bigger. I have started drawing bigger and don't do any A4 or smaller anymore. Mostly because i hope to sell them one Day but also because they get more detailed

Oh I agree 100%,but then the pressure also grows larger🤔 for me at least larger ones take more time

I had that though myself. But then I thought, do I draw because I want to make hive or do I draw because I enjoy it. I came to the conclution that I want to make drawings that I enjoy and can be proud of

For sure. Once when I was creating less, but more complex works, i was creating 1 or two piecies a month, with charcoal, i kinda started to feel unproductive. But then again, I was just busy
