Hola cómo están hermosa comunidad de Hive!, aquí Elba, el día de hoy les traigo el proceso de éste dibujo muy especial para mí de Nezuko del anime Kimetsu no Yaiba o Demon Slayer. Específicamente ésta escena de la temporada 3. Así que vamos con ello.
Hello how are you beautiful Hive! community, Elba here, today I bring you the process of this very special drawing for me of Nezuko from the anime Kimetsu no Yaiba or Demon Slayer. Specifically this scene from season 3. So let's go with it.
Debo decir que yo no soy muy experta con las temperas, aparte no tengo muy buenos materiales así que hago lo que puedo. Lo primero que hice fue hacer el boceto en mi block de sketch, Para mí es más fácil hacer el boceto inicial en éste block ya que me puedo permitir equivocarme en cualquier detalle antes de pasar al papel para pintura.
I must say that I am not very expert with temperas, besides I don't have very good materials so I do what I can. The first thing I did was to make the sketch in my sketch pad, for me it is easier to make the initial sketch in this pad because I can afford to make mistakes in any detail before going to the paper for painting.
Hablando un poco más del anime en sí, la verdad es que Kimetsu no yaiba me encanta, y Nezuko se me hace un personaje muy tierno y la participación que tuvo en ésta temporada fue genial. Ésta fue una de las escenas que más lágrimas me sacó toda la temporada, por lo que tenía ganas de recrearla.
Talking a little more about the anime itself, the truth is that I love Kimetsu no yaiba, and Nezuko is a very tender character and the participation she had in this season was great. This was one of the scenes that made me cry the most during the whole season, so I was looking forward to recreate it.
Regresando al dibujo, lo siguiente que hice fue con un papel para calcar, crear una copia del boceto, esto es para ya pasarlo directo al papel para pintura. Muchos pensarán que esto es una especie de trampa, pero no lo es, ya que sólo te estás ahorrando el paso de tener que volver a hacer todo el boceto otra vez.
Going back to the drawing, the next thing I did was with a tracing paper, create a copy of the sketch, this is to pass it directly to the paper for painting. Many will think that this is a kind of cheating, but it is not, since you are just saving yourself the step of having to do the whole sketch again.
Ya una vez en el papel para pintura fue donde me empezaron a entrar las dudas si esto fue buena idea. Como dije no soy experta en temperas y tampoco estaba segura de que éste papel fuera el indicado, pero si algo aprendí es que en la vida se pierde más por miedo que por intentar, así que seguimos.
Once on the painting paper I started to doubt if this was a good idea. As I said I'm not an expert in tempera and I wasn't sure if this paper was the right one, but if I learned something is that in life you lose more by fear than by trying, so we continue.
Y aquí ya empecé a pintar y no voy a mentir diciendo que lo veía bien, no tomé muchas fotos del proceso de las temperas principalmente porque no me gustaba como estaba quedando, me empecé a arrepentir de esto, pero pues ya no había vuelta atrás.
And here I started to paint and I'm not going to lie saying that it looked good, I didn't take many pictures of the process of the temperas mainly because I didn't like how it was turning out, I started to regret this, but there was no turning back.
Así se vio después de todas las capas de pintura, sé que se ve muy raro y un poco feo, pero como dicen algunos, confíen en el proceso, aquí yo ya tenía los ánimos hasta los suelos, pero me dije a mí misma que todavía le faltan los últimos detalles, así que seguí.
This is how it looked after all the coats of paint, I know it looks very weird and a little ugly, but as some people say, trust the process, here I was already in high spirits, but I told myself that it still lacks the finishing touches, so I kept going.
Y así se quedó después de darle sombras con lápices de colores y un delineado, ciertamente no me arrepiento de ésta idea, me encantó demasiado y hasta quiero enmarcarlo. Espero que también les haya gustado y pues bueno, yo me despido, los quiero mucho y nos veremos en la próxima. Goodbye Friends.
