Hello friends, I hope you are very well, this time I return with a new drawing and share my experience with the community. It is a flower called Calla, or Alcatraz, it is known by various names in many parts of the world. In North Africa it is known as the Water Lily, the ancient Greeks and Romans cultivated these flowers to express the gods' vows of purity, thus their colors are associated with purity and spirituality. I hope you like my drawing.
Hola amigos, espero que esten muy bien, esta vez vuelvo con un nuevo dibujo y compartir mi experiencia con la comunidad. Se trata de una flor llamada Calla, o Alcatraz, es conocida con diversos nombres en muchas partes del mundo. En el Norte de África es conocida como Lirio del Agua, los antiguos griegos y romanos cultivaban estas flores para expresar votos de pureza los dioses, así sus colores estan asociados a la pureza y la espiritualidad. Espero que les guste mi dibujo.
For this drawing I have chosen black cardboard to make the flowers with lots of light and highlight the colors. The base color is a white pastel, which unlike the traditional white color has other properties that help to outline better.
Paa ete dibujo he escogido cartulina negra para hacer las flores con mucha luz y resaltar los colores. El color base es un pastel blanco, que a diferencia del color blanco tradicional tiene otras propiedades que ayuda a delinear mejor.
We draw the lower base of the flower using a range of colored greens from the darkest to the lightest, also the dark green can be mixed with some dark blue to play with the effect of the light. We paint the other part of the petals with white.Dibujamos la base inferior de la flor usando una gamas de colored verdes desde el mas oscuro hasta el más claro, tambien el verde oscuro podemos mezclarlo con algu de azul oscuro para jugar con el efecto de la luz. La otra parte de los petalos la pintamos con color blanco.
We paint the upper edge with white and make some shadows with a gradient starting with the pink color to a more intense fuccia and ending with a violet.El borde superior lo pintamos con blanco y hacemos algunas sombras con una degradación comenzando por el color rosa hasta un fuccia más intenso y finalizando con un violeta.
Then we paint the largest flower following the same steps above. We can use darker tones if we want to play with the light, since this flower is above the other. In the lower part, the green tones are stronger and darker, then it degrades until it reaches a white tone and from there to the edge of the petal where we place some lilac and violet.Después pintamos la flor más grande siguiendo los mismos pasos anteriores. Podemos utilizar tonos mas oscuros si queremos jugar con la luz, ya que esta flor se encuentra por encima de la otra. En la parte inferior los tonos de verde son mas fuertes y oscuros, luego se degrada hasta alcanzar un tono blanco y de ahi al borde del pétalo donde colocamos algo de lila y violeta.
To finish our drawings of these flowers we also draw some green leaves that are characteristic of this beautiful plant. We draw it in green respecting the darker green shadows.Para finalizar nuestro dibujos de estas flores dibujamos también unas hojas verdes que son características de esta hermosa planta. La dibujamos en verde respetando las sombras en verdes mas oscuros.Final Work
This is how the final work has been, using black cardboard is very good to achieve another effect as you can see in the colors of this flower. The secret is in mixing and making the strokes fast and smooth so that the textures come together. I hope you liked my contribution, this flower is really beautiful, here in my house it is white and its fragrance is heavenly, now I understand why it is associated with the pure and the rebirth of a new heart. El secreto esta en mezclaro y hacer los trazos rápidos y suaves para que las texturas se unan. Espero que les haya gustado mi aporte, esta flor es hermosa de verdad, aquí en mi casa hay de color blanco y su fragancia es celestial, ahora entiendo por que está asociada con la purea y el renacimiento de un nuevo corazón.
