Hello everyone,
Good morning to you all. This morning I bring to you my recent art piece. It's a drawing of Lupita Nyongo. After a while of doing lot of drawings on black sketchbook, I decided to make a real portrait. This is to check my improvement and see what I've learnt so far on a real drawing. Like I've always said, drawing on a white paper is quite different from drawing on a black paper. They are opposite of each other so I've been doing some personal training first. Once this drawing is completed the plan is to try a bigger drawing. Since art is all about personal development and improvement, that's exactly what I'm going to do.
For the drawing, first I got my reference photo here , did some grid lines to guide my drawing then I started developing it box by box for accuracy.
