DRAWING OF A SPORT STENCIL ART.

in Sketchbook11 days ago

I am happy to share with you all, an image of a badminton player, this creativity in expressing my artwork highlights sports and the movements that goes with it, I did this through the use of silhouettes.Good day my friends @sketchbook community. How are you all doing? Wishing you a day filled with happiness and goodwill. 🥰

The artwork is actually intended for a school sport, which will be held this week, friday.

SIGNIFICANT OF THE ARTWORK

This medium shows the importance of sports and its movement. I actually took a risk by using a black silhouette just to emphasize the various dynamic energies of each players rather than their individual details.

Accompanied by the badminton stencil are the football player, the basket ball player and the athletic runner.

  1. This sport stencil art, helps to promote sports and physical well—being.

  2. This art does not concentrate on just a single game or gender, rather it is relevant to all individual audience.

  3. By showcasing various sports within the same artwork, this implies that anyone can participate in sports activities regardless of the background you come from.

  4. It creates a sense of inspiration, motivation and most especially excitement.

  5. It promotes inclusivity.

The technique I used, simply focuses on importance of action and motion rather than their personalities. In extension, it allows all those viewing the artwork to actually see themselves in the art displays.

MY STENCIL ART TECHNIQUE

Firstly, I sketched out my artwork on an ash carbon paper, highlighted all the bases, I then placed my art work on a wooden table to cut out my stencil art.
Then I Immediately placed it on a white banner. Of course, I had to hold it down with a celotape, so that, it would not move or shift from the its original position where I kept it. Then I used a spray paint to design the banner to attain to a uniform look, sharp—edge silhouettes.
After spraying the red, green and slightly sea unique paint, immediately I applied the black acrylic paint on each stencil I have placed on the banner. I applied continuously until it was dark enough. Then I removed the carbon paper and allowed it to dry.

This technique can be used on several occasions, possibly for either banners, posters, or walls.

MATERIALS I USED FOR MY STENCIL AND SILHOUETTE ART

  1. Drawing lead

  2. Eraser

  3. Cutter

  4. A pair of scissors

  5. Permanent marker

  6. Spray paint (sea unique, red and green)

  7. Hard Carbon paper

  8. Banner
