In the stillness of early dawn, as the part of my world slowly awakens, I decided to sketch a quiet yet fierce portrait of a determined lady who chases her dreams relentlessly.
I completed this artwork at exactly 6:42 A.M. on March 17, 2025. Capturing that spirit — the unyielding gaze of someone who has faced challenges, but never gave up. Her eyes are wide open, filled with fire and resolution that stares boldly and confidently into the amazing future. I chose to colour her hat with a red and green stripes which symbolizes balance between passion (red) and growth (green), while her flowing hair symbolizes the awesome but challenging journey — sometimes tangled, usually unpredictable, however moving forward.
This drawing is not just a face, but rather I refer to it as a testament: no matter how early the hour or how tough the journey may seem, greatness begins with actually just a single little stroke, a single step and the unyielding courage to keep moving forward until you reach your destination.
Like her eyes, stay focused — for within all hivers as well as the awesome @sketchbook community lies the power to shape this beautiful and amazing world.
