RE: Painting a Portrait of My Daughter: Process and Result (Eng-Sp)

Beautiful! I love this shade of blue that you used. Haha yes, liquin is such a good product, it makes the experience so much better than just using linseed oil. I think the traditional medium just stimulates our senses better than digital. Especially when you have to do the brush strokes and mix the paint yourself... And the smell too! That's why traditional is such a fun medium. Nice to hear you're doing well Alejandra <3

Gosh, I love the smell, lol.
Thank you, Vyankka. I'll be moving by the end of the year to a place with more space, so finally I'll have my Studio 🤩 I guess I'm preparing my mood for that.

The smell of chemicals 😂 Careful with that tho, if you have poor ventilation it might affect you long term even if it is Liquin it still has smell. But I agree with you, I also love the smell of oil paint and linseed.

That's great news!!! I can feel your excitement. Having your own studio is really really nice ahaha. Are you gonna post a studio tour? 🤣

Jody is in Brazil (again) and we're going to wait until he's back so we move out to the new place. The house is perfect, and the town is just lovely. The future studio needs work, because is a small old house next to the one we bought. For sure I'll be posting the work in progress 😊 it's really exciting.
Yes, the ventilation is one of the reasons I don't paint that much at my current place, especially if the girls are around.
