Hello everyone,
I decided to do a drawing of a beloved character - Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh. I chose him because I like how he is the one that most looks like a rag doll and I like the color scheme. I used several references of the character to come up with my take on it.
I started off by doing the pencil sketch which I though I took a picture of but discovered that I have forgotten so yeah. Next step was to do a light watercolor wash of the basic colors to get it started:
Here I spontaneously decided to do a yellow background just to bring it a bit more together and I am happy with the result.
Top right was looking a bit empty so last minute I decided on adding a few butterflies to fill in the space a little:
It is finished off with colored pencils. I am really happy with the result and I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did drawing it.
