Hi all, today I am sharing some painting from life studies I completed of nature, one being of a whole tree and the other a close up of one of its leaves. It was difficult to capture detail in the large study especially with the size of brush and the time limit (the sun moves quickly affecting the lights and shadows) therefore I aimed for a quick impression of what I was seeing. However, the other study of the leaf I could spend more time on and achieve a greater accuracy.

The large study took about 30-60 minutes and the detailed study of the leaf about 1-2 hours to complete.

Omg! I love your work. I would like to paint like you. I learned to draw in a moment of my life a little complex, where I had to do it if or if, as a resilient person that I am, I learned to do it, however, I am aware that if I were to continue practicing today would be another story.
