Warming up Sketch

in Sketchbook3 years ago

Hi Dearest Hiveans! How are you today? Hope everyone is good and always doing great.

This day I continue my 2nd commission couple portrait which I already started 1 week ago. As I always do, I need to do some drawing/sketch first as warm up to my hands and fingers before the formal and serious drawing, I do this specially if I'm going to draw a commission portrait.

And for my warm up Sketch today is an eye again. (it's my favorite part to draw, so it's an eye again heheh)

Here's my output

I did this using same method and art style to my past drawings. Though it's just face part I used grid because I want to make it more accurate. My reference is downloaded from Pinterest.

My art materials used are:
-hb mechanical pencil for the sketch
-inkless marker and charcoal powder for light outlines before making it darker
-flat brush for the skintone, and smoothen the outlines
-8b STAEDTLER black for darkening the dark parts
-blending stamp to smoothen the pencil outlines
-characoal pencil for the darkest parts such as eyebrow, eyelashes, and the black part at the middle of an eyeball :)
-pencil eraser for the highlights

Here's my procedure photos and as proof of ownership as well.

That's all for my quick procedure, but it takes me almost 1 hour to finish this.

Thanks again for viewing amd stopping by, I'll be posting again soon, See'yah on my next one.
Thank you very much! Salamt!
