An artist could get lost in such jocund beauty and be left alone for long hours. Sometimes all that will matter to you is what you see and perceive than the time that is passing by. The breeze of that morning is yet to be forgotten and so is the clear fresh weather was easy to take in and breathe out.
Inspiration -
The narrow lanes consistently take my attention towards them. It is like my name is called repeatedly and I am unable to break the siren. The unfinished turns of a narrow lane give me pleasure when I sketch them down. My feelings flourish into the canvas paper making imprints of the original scenario. An artist could get lost in such jocund beauty and be left alone for long hours. The piece here might not look as mesmerizing as my words portray but once you color it out with your imagination and peek at what I observed, you might be left mesmerized alike me. So, why did I not paint it? I wanted to keep a sketch of the image in my collection and I did not want to paint it. Painting it might have given it life but maybe you can say that I preferred black-and-white.

The major subjects of the sketch -
You will notice, even though this is inside the village area, still, there are electric pillars and cables. From one angle we can see the advancement and from another angle, we can see that the trees and natural beauty are getting involved. The network was good out there, therefore, it can be said that it is not like before when the network used to be an issue.
On the other hand, the wooden houses typically spread a charm in this lane, it was a rare view. Such wooden houses reflect the environment and store the beauty of the place.
Side tea stalls and open huts are places where people gather now and then. It is not a place for intense gatherings but a commonplace for conversations over a cup of tea. Also, there are houses which have a wide opening as such.
Lastly, the beauty of the route is something that mesmerizes an artist every time they make a visit. My sole inspiration for this sketch was the scenery followed by the narrow lane. My flowing mind wanted to grasp onto this view and keep it still as a picture, to be reflected upon later again and again.
Guidelines -
• Imitation art is best when captured instantly
• Before sketching envision your outline, subject, and filler
• Once you visualize the image it is easier to sketch with a pen as omission isn't an option
• For starters, I would suggest trying a pencil sketch and to get your hands flexible
• Know the different forms of marks you can create, I have used three types of hatching
• For a brighter environment, too little shadow is recommended
• Plan ahead how you will protect your edges, I have used thin, hard, and lost edges
• Unfinished edges mark continuation, so plan your unfinished edges properly
