I've finished this first picture of mine and I can say that the result makes me happy.
It's a very popular style for the comics and the skill should not be real great if the story is engaging. Even my mistakes with perspective are not very noticable and that I saw so many times in very popular works.
Now I need to try some more sketches and then finally I will start to sketch my own book. I am really happy that I see that I can start. Of course, it will be harder than just having a reference to draw it in different style, but I have plenty of time and chances. And it looks like magic - the whole idea of creating a new story and making all the characters alive.
And this is a reference from the film which I took as an example. Of course, I changed colours since making it all dark and black will dissolve drawing, but the idea of the night we can see because of the very dark shadows in the windows and corners.
