Hello everyone, last night I drew a portrait of my friend, Lovett. She's a makeup artist and does amazing work . She gets to meet lots of people and travels a lot. We've been friends for years and we went to same secondary school in Uyo, Nigeria. She asked me to draw her early this week and I promised I'd deliver before the week ran out. Here's the final piece
I started with an outline of her on sketchbook pro.
Then I proceeded to fill in the base colors
It gradually began to take shape
I thought of adding elements that represented her like her makeup in the photo and since this is in a cartoon style, it felt like a good idea
