Inspired by a character of Junji Ito, that I barely saw in one or two episodes of Junji Ito Colection, I wanted to make a small interpretation of the character.
She is the one whose face, when seen by a specific person, turns that person's life into nightmares. She is the one who, out of jealousy, eats people.
I wonder why she is a successful model?
I'm sure she has an answer, but I haven't read all of Junji's manga, I haven't found that manga.
I know she has a sweet voice, and she is not afraid to present herself as she is.
I wonder why her face is so big, and what it meant to her author. But here is my interpretation.
It's her, at night, thinking about her success and next to the faces of the people she has devoured, they look like a snack for someone like her. Like potato chips.
Inspirada en un personaje de Junji Ito, que a penas vi en uno o dos episodios de Junji Ito Colection, quise hacer una pequeña interpretacion del personaje.
Es ella a quien cuando la ve alguien en especifico, su rostro, convierte la vida de ese alguien en pesadillas. Es ella quien por celos se come a las personas.
Me pregunto, por qué es una modelo exitosa¿
Seguro tiene una respuesta, pero no he leido todos los mangas de Junji, no he encontrado ese manga.
Se que ella tiene una voz dulce, y no teme presentarse como es.
Me pregunto por que su cara es tan grande, y que significara para su autor. Pero aqui esta mi interpretación.
Es ella, en la noche, pensando en su exito y junto a las caras de las personas que ha devorado, se ven como un snack para alguien como ella. Como si fueran papas fritas.

Being an illustration made with watercolor, and taking into account that I'm just starting with this technique, you can see that I'm not very good at it. I put it together with an ink pencil and a little bit of color pencils. But I started with just a pencil to make the sketch And I did the lineart with the ink pen.
Al ser una ilustracion con hecha con acuarela, y tomando en cuenta que apenas estoy empezando con esta tecnica, se puede ver que no soy muy buena. La junté con un lapiz de tinta y un poquito de lapices de color. Pero empecé tan solo con un lapiz para realizar el boceto e hice el linear con lapiz de tinta.
Having already made the lineart, I discovered that the ink spreads with water. It doesn't look as pretty but it helped me learn that the ink pencil always goes last. I also started to put a little blush on the cheeks of all the faces.
Ya habiendo hecho el lineart, descubri que la tinta se esparce con el agua. No se ve tan bonito pero ayudó a que aprendiera que el lapiz de tinta siempre va al final. Tambien empecé a colocar un poco de rubor en las mejillas de todas las caras.
I had no idea what color to use for the skin as such, but I'm sure that shouldn't have been the color.
But anyway, the point is to learn.
No tenia idea de que color usar para la piel como tal, pero estoy segura de que ese no debió ser el color.
Pero en fin, el punto es aprender.

When I started dealing with watercolors, I really pushed myself out of my comfort zone, even though it was something I really wanted to try. It is rewarding to know that I am learning. However, I would love to know if any of you have advice for me, feel free to leave it in the comments.
Al empezar a lidiar con las acuarelas, de verdad me empujé fuera de mi zona de confort, aunque era algo que en realidad si queria intentar. Es gratificante saber que estoy aprendiendo. Sin embargo, me encantaria saber si algunos de ustedes tienen consejos para mi, pueden dejarlo en los comentarios.

In the end everything took shape by itself and I liked the result.
