Morrigan, celtic goddess. important steps when drawing.

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a good time! I am starting on this platform eager to learn. I am a
digital artist with a semi-realistic style who does pixelart's from time to time.
Here I show you the most important steps when drawing.

  1. Sketch; The first layer; Light tones and fluid strokes are usually used to help form the base of your
idea. These are the strokes that will define the process of the entire illustration and that is when you will materialize the idea in your
    mind. Big changes apply here

  1. Lineart: The second layer; here the lines will form a much clearer and more detailed idea of what we want to do.
This part requires a lot of concentration and is usually long-lasting. For me it is the most tedious but the result
    worth.

  1. Flat or base color: The third layer; These are the colors that will fill every blank space in our
illustration, giving it liveliness. Here you can play with the nuances of different aspects, such as: skin, clothes,
hair etc Until satisfied. It's my favorite part.

  1. Lights and shadows: fourth and last layer; When applying the lights and shadows you have to take into account where the light comes from.
lighting and the level of shadows in the environment. They are placed individually on each object in order to
give it depth and a higher level. Placing shadows a few shades higher in saturation increases their visual quality.

  2. Background: I usually leave backgrounds out of focus to make the image stand out with less color intensity.
You can also help yourself by taking the image of a landscape and giving it a blurred or opaque effect.
