Drawing A Lion

From my animal series, I present to you my new pen drawing of a lion, believed to be the king of the jungle.

The creature has his eyes focused at a particular spot with some thoughts running through his mind while on top of a hill. He looks like Simba's dad in the Lion's King when he heads to the top to address his people.

I love how those few drops of strokes worked together to build something tangible.

The drawing was done with my favorite medium, a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper. You can see my steps below:
