These are some of the Koala sketches I've been playing with. I've been making sketches twice a week. One on Wednesday and one on Sunday. I found myself drawing in my notebook a lot more than I used to. I just think about things or see things and draw them.
This sketch is called true colors because many people hide their true colors. Here kiki is painting over her natural pink skin color because she is afraid other people won't accept her if she is not a gray Koala.
As she walks along she feels like others are judging her, but in the background she sees one tear and make up washing away. That one Koala made here cry too. One by one all the Koalas were changed to their true colors.
2020 is the year we can see the true colors of our people.
