OH BOY! ¿CÓMO ESTÁN TODOS? Llevaba tiempo sin subir un dibujo. Cada semestre que pasa, la universidad se complica más, ¡pero hey! Sobrevivo. Afortunadamente, desde que tengo un nuevo celular he tenido el tiempo de practicar el Glow Art. Si observan mi última publicación podrán notar mi primer intento de este estilo de arte, el cual trata de hacer un coloreado estilo neón.
OH BOY! HOW ARE YOU ALL? It's been a while since I've uploaded a drawing. Every semester that goes by, college gets more complicated, but hey, I'm surviving, fortunately, since I got a new cell phone I've had time to practice Glow Art. If you look at my last post you may notice my first attempt at this style of art, which is about doing neon style coloring.
El día de hoy, en mi segundo intento de este tipo de arte, le tocará a Kiryu Coco ser mi modelo de prueba. Como podrán observar, a diferencia de mi última publicación de hace tiempo, había escogido un dibujo que estaba en una hoja de rayas y aparte era una fotografía, en esta ocasión se trata de un dibujo escaneado. ¿Lo hice hace un año? ¿2 Años? No recuerdo, está en mi Twitter e Instagram por si gustan ir a ver, el asunto es que es de hace tiempo y le había puesto mucho empeño en hacerlo. Es grande, algo detallado y uno de mis mejores dibujos de hecho.
Today, in my second attempt at this type of art, it will be Kiryu Coco's turn to be my test model. As you may notice, unlike my last post some time ago, I had chosen a drawing that was on a lined sheet and besides it was a photograph, this time it's a scanned drawing. I did it a year ago? 2 Years? I don't remember, it's on my Twitter and Instagram if you like to go check it out, the thing is that it's from a while ago and I had put a lot of effort into it. It's big, somewhat detailed and one of my best drawings in fact.
Al hacerlo en su momento había pensado hacerle este efecto, pero no pude por el celular que tenía en aquel momento. Hoy, eso cambiará y les mostraré el resultado de ello. (Aunque bueno, ya lo vieron.)
When I did it at the time I had thought of doing this effect, but I couldn't because of the cell phone I had at the time. Today, that will change and I'll show you the result of it. (Although, well, you saw it).
Al comienzo hice lo primero, abrir otra capa y llenar todo de negro con un cubo, para posteriormente bajarle la opacidad a la capa y quedará oscuro. Empecé por los ojos, hice esto durante la boda de una amiga por cierto, no tenía una idea clara de que hacer ni por dónde empezar, así que hice lo que pude… ¡Claramente, esos ojos están horribles y los cambié!
At first I did the first thing, open another layer and fill everything with black with a cube, then lower the opacity of the layer and it will be dark. I started with the eyes, I did this during a friend's wedding by the way, I didn't have a clear idea of what to do or where to start, so I did what I could... Of course, those eyes are horrible and I changed them!
Hice más oscuro el lienzo y le cambié por completo los ojos, no me gustaban. En lugar de pintarlos por completo, rellené solo la parte inferior y añadí unos brillos con el pincel aerógrafo, solo con eso ya eran mejor que los anteriores.
I made the canvas darker and completely changed the eyes, I didn't like them. Instead of painting them completely, I filled only the lower part and added some glitter with the airbrush, that alone was better than the previous ones.
Luego fui a por el cabello, esta parte me costó. Cometí muchos errores, el primero fue que lo hice por partes, tras pintar los colores no luminosos procedí pintando un lado de forma individual con la capa en “añadir”, esa opción permite que los colores se vean más brillantes, pero hacerlo por partes termino por generarme diversos problemas que retrasaron la culminación del cabello.
Then I went for the hair, this part cost me. I made many mistakes, the first one was that I did it in parts, after painting the non luminous colors I proceeded painting one side individually with the "add" layer, that option allows the colors to look brighter, but doing it in parts ended up generating several problems that delayed the completion of the hair.
Añadí más brillos en los hombros, cuello y el borde de los pechos. Poco a poco el resultado me iba encantando, no sabía que añadir para este punto, así que me puse a revisar los diferentes pinceles de Ibis Paint. (Al final de la publicación dejare dos imágenes con los pinceles que use)
I added more glitter on the shoulders, neck and the edge of the breasts. Little by little I was loving the result, I didn't know what to add for this point, so I started to review the different brushes of Ibis Paint (At the end of the publication I will leave two images with the brushes I used).
¡Y Vualá! Encontré un pincel que hace pétalos. Al tocar la pantalla hace varios, así que tuve que borrarlos y ordenarlos a mi gusto. Añadí pequeños puntos de luces iguales a los que puse en mi último dibujo para decorar y quedo bastante bonito.
And voila! I found a brush that makes petals. When you touch the screen it makes several, so I had to erase them and arrange them to my liking. I added little dots of lights just like the ones I put in my last drawing to decorate and it turned out pretty nice.
Por último, y no menos importante, añadí otros brillos a los pechos. No tenía pensado hacerlo hasta que vi dibujos en internet y noté que esa parte del centro brillaba.

Last but not least, I added other glitter to the breasts. I didn't plan to do it until I saw drawings on the internet and noticed that part in the center shined.

Hiciste bien en cambiarle los ojos, porque el efecto con el diseño final de los ojos la hace ver espectacular ¡que brillen los "magumbos" en la oscuridad! jajaja ✨
