I just want to share my piece of Charcoal Portrait that I made for an extraordinary person in my life. This is my way of expressing my love to her. For now, I know that I probably cannot send it to her, but I still hope for it.

Now let me explain my short process
I used a charcoal pencil to create lines that will make it more sketchy. A kneaded eraser will also help to lessen the dark lines for a more defined skin tone. And a soft brush for light skin tone.
I wanted to have a rough look style, that is why you can see that I'm using hatching. For the very dark portions, I just fill them with dark, then brushed them, and for the hair, to look more defined, I used a very sharp eraser to make a line of hair strands.
It took me a day to make this beautiful portrait and it is indeed worth it! 😁
